My research interests broadly center on how physical forces shape biomechanical design and organismal behavior across length scales. As a Biophysics Group student co-advised by Profs. Robert Dudley and Víctor Ortega Jiménez, I investigate how electrostatic and aerodynamic forces mediate interactions between free-flying hummingbirds and flowering plants. I am particularly interested in how the interplay of flight dynamics, electrostatics, and floral structure influences pollination and reveals broader physical principles underlying particle transport in nature. When not in the lab, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and climbing, playing ice hockey, and working on the occasional DIY electronics project.
